I committed myself to coming out of the pandemic better than I entered it — physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. I’ve read books, listened to podcasts and attended a neurolinguistic programming seminar. But some days are tough. It can get lonely when you’re single and working from home, staring at screens, trying to be creative. That’s when negative self-talk sneaks in. Today, I wrote three pages of affirmations to keep them at bay. I’m sharing my thoughts to help anyone else who might be experiencing self-doubt or anxiety.

I am OK.
I am safe.
I am focused.

I am using my talents.
I am a gifted writer, and creative.
I had the opportunity to be collaborative and appreciative of other people’s talents today; for that I am grateful and enriched.

I love myself.
I am beautiful inside and outside.
*People like my headshots.*

I am getting vaccinated Thursday.

People accept, respect and act on my ideas.
I am in a privileged postion.

Things are moving in the right direction.
There is nothing wrong with me.

I am a work in progress.
I am fine art.
I am precious cargo.

I am nice to myself.
I am my best friend and confidante.

I trust myself to make good decisions.

I am worthy of people’s time, respect and money.
I deserve abundance;
I give a lot and deserve an equal amount in return.
